Redmond, WA Construction of the Redmond Pool is complete, and the facility reopens this week for public use with some restrictions, in accordance with the Healthy Washington Roadmap to Recovery plan. The Redmond Pool is located at 17535 NE 104th Street in Redmond.

The City's operational partner, WAVE Aquatics, is reopening the facility with a modified program and operations plan that is aligned with the Governor’s guidelines. This plan includes reservation-only public lap swim and senior swims, recreational and competitive swim team, modified-format swim lessons by reservation, high school swim and dive, and rentals. A full schedule with online registration for public lap swimming and swim lessons are available at www.waveaquatics.orgSwim lesson registration opens May 10.

The Redmond Pool closed in June 2019 as part of a two-phase improvement project. Improvements to the pool included new mechanical and electrical systems, air handling units, boiler systems, roof, windows, pool decking, lobby and locker room upgrades, updated fixtures, and ADA improvements. The facility's façade will also be enhanced through a permanent sculptural installation by artist team Pete Goldlust and Melanie Germond. To learn more about the Redmond Pool project, visit www.redmond.gov/Pool.

The City will celebrate the reopening of the Redmond Pool and improvements through a ribbon-cutting ceremony and recognition event this summer, following the completion of the public art installation.
