Redmond has been once again recognized as a 2020 Tree City USA by the Arbor Day Foundation in honor of the City’s commitment to urban forest management. Redmond’s tree canopy goal of 40% will provide environmental benefits, combat climate change, and enhance the natural beauty of our community.
The crosswalk at NE 104th Street and 172nd Avenue NE is one of four Redmond crosswalks recently enhanced to improve pedestrian and vehicle safety. The brighter contrast of the new red color used in the crosswalks provides greater visibility in heavily trafficked and school crossing areas.
The Redmond Saturday Market returns for its 46th year, opening on Saturday, May 1 through October 30. Visit the market each Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in parking lot D at Overlake Christian Church located at 9900 Willows Road NE.
