Stop Hate

A Message from Mayor Birney

Redmond is a welcoming city where hate and bias crimes of any nature are not tolerated. Please join me, City Council, and all board, commission, and committee members in combatting racism and honoring those who have tragically lost their lives and the families they have left behind. We stand with the Asian American Pacific Islander communities and anyone that is feeling anxiety or fear for any reason. Help us eradicate racism in Redmond and beyond. If you experience or witness violence or harassment, please call 911 or reach out to one of these resources:

Redmond's Tree Canopy

Growing Redmond’s Tree Canopy

The Washington Conservation Crew (WCC) and local Scout Troop 520 prepped and installed almost 1,500 plants, including 540 trees in North Redmond's Monticello watershed. This effort is part of the City's commitment to preserve and increase Redmond's tree canopy.
