Safe Start Reopening Plan

Governor Announces Safe Start Reopening Plan

Friday, Governor Inslee released a “Safe Start” reopening plan for resuming recreational, social and business activities. Redmond is currently in Phase I of this plan. We strongly encourage residents to continue to stay home except for essential needs and services, wash your hands regularly, stay home if sick, and to wear face coverings when in public spaces where social distancing cannot be maintained.

Open Public Meetings Act Extended to June 17

Governor Inslee has extended a proclamation that temporarily suspends portions of the Open Public Meetings Act (OPMA) to help minimize in-person contact. Redmond City Council, and other City boards and commission meetings, will continue to meet virtually.
