Redmond Parks and Recreation

To slow the spread of COVID- 19 (Coronavirus), City of Redmond acted on King County Public Health’s latest recommendation found here by closing all City of Redmond facilities, and canceling activities, rentals, events, sports leagues, and field reservations through April 30, 2020.

Playground Closures 

Playgrounds are now officially closed until further notice.

 

Sports Fields 

Permitted use of City of Redmond sports fields for the purpose of leagues, organized games, or practices have been canceled until further notice. No organized game play is allowed and large gathering criteria must be applied. 

 

Picnic Shelters

Shelter reservations are currently unavailable and will be open for use on a first-come first-serve basis until further notice. Be advised that we are not able to sanitize picnic shelters and encourage community members to follow the latest CDC recommendations

 

Redmond Parks and Trails Are Open

  • All Park restrooms are being sanitized daily by City staff
  • Practice social distancing – create at least 6 feet of distance
  • No organized activities or game play allowed 
  • Wash your hands before and after play
  • Stay home if you are sick
  • Follow current CDC recommendations

Parks and Recreation Facility Closures and Cancellations

Community Centers Closed

All Parks and Recreation Community Centers, Anderson Park Cabins and Farrel-McWhirter Park Barnyard are closed. For the most current information, please visit redmond.gov/CurrentCancellations.

 

Activities, Programs and Classes Canceled

All recreation programs, classes, sports leagues, and farm activities are canceled.

Rentals Canceled 

All facility, cabin and picnic shelter rentals are canceled.
