Recycle Your Styrofoam for Free
The City of Redmond is hosting a free Styrofoam-only recycling event on Saturday, August 17, at the Redmond Public Works Maintenance and Operations Center. Bring in packing peanuts, Styrofoam blocks, and other packaging for responsible recycling.
Downtown Event Related Road Closures
Be aware of the following road impacts related to the Enforcer 5K on Saturday, August 10:
- Closure of eastbound Cleveland Street (from 161st to 166th) from 8 - 10 a.m.
- Closure of eastbound NE 76th Street (from 166th to 170th) from 8 – 9:30 a.m.
- Police will briefly stop vehicles on 161st Ave NE, Leary Way, 164th Ave NE, 166th Ave NE, 170th Ave NE and Bear Creek Parkway to allow runners to cross the street.

Overnight SR 520 On-ramp Closure
The NE 40th St westbound SR 520 on-ramp will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday through Thursday nights beginning Monday, August 5 for approximately seven weeks related to the new pedestrian/bicycle bridge construction.
Upcoming I-405 Weekend Closures
I-405 will be closed at Bellevue the next two weekends from Fridays at 9 p.m. to Mondays at 5 a.m. for construction related to Sound Transit Light Rail. Southbound ramps and lanes will close August 9–12 and northbound ramps and lanes will close August 16–19.
