Redmond, WA – On March 29, 2018, City Council will host the
first Neighborhood Conversation of 2018 at Audubon Elementary,
located at 3045 180th Ave NE, Redmond, from 6:15 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. These forums
are a casual and convenient way for residents to interact with each other and
their elected leaders. Each meeting is held in a different part of the city,
and they are open for residents to direct the topics—whether it is a
neighborhood issue or the vision for Redmond.
“We enjoy
coming out to the neighborhoods and hearing what’s on residents’ minds. We look
forward to hearing your questions, addressing any concerns, and sharing the
news about what’s going on in Redmond,” stated Council President, Angela
Birney.
This forum will be held in the
school gymnasium at Audubon Elementary in the Idylwood neighborhood. Community
members can connect with their neighbors and elected leaders, learn about City
projects, and write down questions for Council or City staff. There will be a
reception at 6:15 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. Council will
answer questions, discuss current projects in the neighborhood, and listen to
ideas and thoughts from the community.
This meeting is “kid-friendly,”
and light snacks will be provided.
