Port of Tacoma Washington Tariff: Notice of Tariff changes

NOTICE OF TARIFF CHANGES - Effective July 2, 2011

The following changes will apply to the Port of Tacoma Tariff No. 300, effective July 2, 2011:

  • Dockage: Increase 3%
    • Barges moored/anchored in Port owned property/waterways, a rate of $400 per
      24 hours.
  • Wharfage: Increase 3%
    • Container wharfage: Increased from $45.50 to $46.87 per TEU
  • Fuel surcharge: No change, base price remains at $2.50 per gallon
  • Port security fees: East Blair 1 and West Hylebos 1 at $1,000 per 24 hours
  • Service & facility: Increase 3%
  • Container crane rental: Increase 3.5% to $758 per hour
  • Straddle carrier rental: Increase 3.5% to $158 per hour
  • Twin 20 spreader: Increase 3.5% to $843.60 per vessel call
  • Equipment rental rates will increase 5%, includes Sweeper, Magnet and Vactor truck.
    • Hooking up and disconnecting water will increase 5%
  • NIM and GATE rates will increase 3.5%. Facility fee will increase to $22.75.
  • Storage will increase 3.5%.
    • An inside storage rate, which begins after the free time, of $16.56/1000kgs per
      month for the first 3 months, then $26.20/1000kgs per month, and after 1 year
      $52.40/1000kgs per month, will be introduced.
  • Log rates will increase 3%.
  • Handling and Manhour rates will increase to reflect the increase in pay rates and
    assessments by 2.8%.
  • Breakbulk fees:
    • Truck Loading and Steam Cleaning Fee will be extended to cover Export Breakbulk,
      they will increase 2.8%.
    • Helicopter Fee of $550.00 per occurrence
    • Dunnage disposal fee of $600
