Port of Tacoma Commission to Meet June 18
Port of Tacoma Commissioners on June 18 will consider approving the square footage for the new Port business center building, international travel for commissioners, a contract for video production and streaming services, and an interlocal agreement with Tacoma Public Schools to provide funding for the Summer Certification Program. Commissioners will also consider proclamations honoring Willie Adams and LGBTQ Pride Month.
The meeting begins at 12 p.m. at The Fabulich Center, 3600 Port of Tacoma Road, room 104 and is streamed live on the Port’s website and also archived for later viewing. Public comment may be given in person at the meeting or submitted in writing. Please visit our public comment procedure page for more information.

New Report on Puget Sound Maritime-Related Air Emissions
A new report released by the Puget Sound Maritime Air Forum highlights a continued decrease in maritime-related air pollutant emissions across the Puget Sound region, through 2021. The Puget Sound Emissions Inventory (PSEI) report reveals reductions in emissions across various maritime sectors when compared to data from 2016 and 2005. Learn more ⇒
