Port of Tacoma Commission to consider new workforce development contract
Port of Tacoma Commissioners on December 19 will consider authorizing a contract to provide career pathways training through paid work experience or internships in building trades, manufacturing trades, maritime and logistics trades, and the environment.
Commissioners will elect new officers for 2024 and also consider a property acquisition on Ross Way, international travel authorization, and approval of a collective bargaining agreement with the Port Workers Group.
The meeting begins at 12 p.m. at The Fabulich Center, 3600 Port of Tacoma Road, room 104. Meetings are streamed live on the Port’s website and also archived for later viewing.
