Help Plan the Future of the Port Maritime Center!
Join us on Wednesday, November 29 to kick off the visioning process for the Port Maritime Center project, which will include a new Port business office and Tacoma Public Schools’ Maritime|253 skills center.
Stop by to meet with staff from the Port of Tacoma, TCF Architecture, BNBuilders, and Tacoma Public Schools to learn more about the project and master planning process and weigh in on the possibilities for public amenities and waterway access. Your feedback will help envision the future of the site!
The event will be held at Foss Waterway Seaport, 705 Dock Street, Tacoma. Drop by the Open House anytime between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m.

Port of Tacoma Commission to hold budget hearing at November meeting
Port of Tacoma Commissioners on Tuesday, November 21 will hold a public hearing and vote on the 2024 budget, including the property tax levy. Commissioners will also consider authorization of three projects: Deepening the Blair Waterway, upgrading switches at the Banana Yard, and renovating restrooms at the Fabulich Center. The commission will also consider a property acquisition on East 11th Street.

The meeting begins at 12 p.m. at The Fabulich Center, 3600 Port of Tacoma Road, room 104. Meetings are streamed live on the Port’s website and also archived for later viewing.
