Stop by our booth to learn more about the Port’s environmental projects, maritime trade, and how we work to advance economic prosperity in our region – and to claim a Port ducky or frisbee!

 The Port at the Pierce County Career Fair
Last month, the Port attended the Pierce County Construction Career Fair. Our maintenance and security teams spoke with hundreds of high school students about careers at the Port and showed off the equipment they use for their jobs.  Diary of a Port Biologist: Dad Yolks
What do you call dad jokes about Canada Geese? Dad yolks. Which side of a goose has the most feathers? The outside. What happened to the geese when they fell down the stairs? They all got goose bumps.
All joking aside, parenting is no laughing matter for Canada goose dads. Man-geese or ganders take protecting their mate and goslings (baby geese) seriously.
