Port of Tacoma Tariff: Fuel surcharge notification

Fuel surcharge notification - Jan. 25, 2012

Due to the cost of fuel, the fuel surcharge for Port of Tacoma straddle carriers will be adjusted Jan. 25 as follows:

  • North Intermodal Yard lift surcharge will increase from $0.70 to $0.77 per lift, effective Jan. 28.
  • The Port-operated terminals gate charge will increase from $0.70 to $0.77 per lift, effective Jan. 28.
  • Straddle carrier rental surcharge will increase from $7.05 to $7.72 per hour, effective Jan. 1.

These charges are based on fuel costs for Port of Tacoma straddle carriers from Dec. 24, 2011, to Jan. 20, 2012.This will be reviewed again Feb. 18, with notification Feb. 22.
