We’re putting the finishing touches on our new reservation system, scheduled to launch Jan. 16! We’re excited about the new features, and we hope you will be, too. Here’s an overview of what you can expect:
- Mobile friendly! Make reservations easily using your smart phone or tablet.
- Special offers and promotions.
- We’re adding the 90 campsites and 38 cabins at Camano Island and Cama Beach Historical state parks to our reservation system. Previously, these accommodations were reservable through the park only.
- Six group camps and seven day-use shelters in two San Juan Islands parks will be added. Previously, these sites were first come, first served or reservable only by phone.
- When a specific campsite is only available for part your stay, you’ll be able to reserve a different campsite (on the same reservation) for the remainder of the stay.
- Make reservations for multiple parks in one online session, though fees and confirmation letters will be different for each park.
- The system will show open dates for retreat and environmental learning centers. People will still need to call to book these spaces but will know, at a glance, what is available.
- Expedited check-in with your printed reservation or confirmation letter displayed on your mobile phone. The printed copy can also be dropped into the self-registration slot, and you can pre-purchase extra vehicle permits online.
PLEASE NOTE: From Jan. 8 through 15, we will transition to the new system, and the current system will be temporarily closed for reservations. During that time, all open overnight accommodations at Washington state parks will be first come, first served, payable by cash. If you’re a current customer in the system, you will be able to update your account Jan. 14 through 15.
We apologize for the temporary inconvenience, but we think you’ll be pleased with the overhaul! We appreciate your patience as we aim to serve your parks needs for 2019 and beyond!
