Featured park: Curlew State Park

Curlew

If you're looking for a tranquil place to go camping or fishing this fall, be sure to check Curlew State Park.

Located in Northeastern Washington, the park sits along the shores of Curlew Lake, a 5.5-mile long lake, popular for trout, largemouth bass and tiger muskie fishing. Curlew Lake also has some of the best rainbow trout fishing in the area. Learn more about the great fishing at Curlew.

Bring your binoculars! Bald eagle, heron and osprey nesting areas are also visible from the park, making wildlife watching a popular activity.

Curlew is also known for its exceptionally green lawns, and the park offers both tent camping and RV accommodations. A sea plane dock is also located in the south campground. For more information about the park or to book your next vacation, visit http://parks.state.wa.us/493/Curlew-Lake.
