Spring is a great time of year to volunteer in Washington’s
great outdoors. Volunteers and camp hosts provide vital help in state
parks across Washington state. Now is the time to sign up to volunteer and set your schedule to host in parks all over the state. State parks looking for hosts include Lake Chelan, Fort Flagler, Fort Casey, Bridgeport and more.
If you're interested in camp hosting, then save the date for the Camporee! State Parks’ 2016
Camporee is set for April 27 to 29, at beautiful Sun Lakes-Dry Falls State
Park. The annual camporee provides training and orientation to new camp hosts.
Registration begins Feb. 19. Space will fill quickly, so get your request in
today at volunteers@parks.wa.gov.
