The Online Learning Advisory Committee (OLAC) is charged by RCW 28A.250.020 to provide advice to OSPI regarding approval criteria, major components of the online learning website, model school district policy, model agreements, and other related matters.
Advisory members serve three year terms. We are seeking applications for the following member positions:
- Private Online Course Provider (2 seats)
- Public Online Course Provider (2 seats)
Course providers must have current OSPI approval status to be considered.
The deadline to submit an online application is Monday, November 24th at 5 pm PST. If you have any questions about the committee please contact the Learning Options department at learningoptions@k12.wa.us.
The Open Doors program is currently undergoing a process evaluation. This effort is focused on streamlining how program applications are submitted, reviewed, and approved. Our goal is to make applying for Open Doors easier and faster. Please expect changes to our:
- “Getting Started Toolkit” webpage.
- Application materials submission requirements.
