Change of Information Form Due February 14th!

The first step to ensuring a smooth and timely approval application process is submitting the Private School Change of Information Form by February 14, 2025. This form is required for schools with recent leadership changes. If you have already submitted a form, no further action is needed. Please visit our How to Update Private School Information webpage for more information.

Mark your calendars for the other following key dates:

Tuesdays in February: Zoom Q&A sessions for Approval Application, 12–12:30 PM PST
March 3: Online Approval Application Launch

Wednesdays in March: Zoom Q&A sessions for Approval Application, 12–12:30 PM PST

April 1: Approval Applications Due

Mid-April: ESEA Federal Programs Application Due (Please contact OSPI’s office with any questions related to this requirement. The SBE does not facilitate this application.)

June 2: Deadline for additional materials or corrections – e.g., inspection or staffing reports

June 26: Board votes to approve private schools

Early July: Schools are notified of approval & new schools are assigned building codes

Mid July: Certificates of Approval available for download on the Private Schools website
