2022 was a historic year for the State Board of Education! Student members received voting rights, the legislature invested in community engagement and mastery-based learning, and we welcomed two new excellent team members to our agency. She has noticed a difference between her standard middle school experience, and her high school that offers mastery-based learning practices like student agency and project-based learning.
