Dear Private School EDS Administrators,
First, thank you all very much for your patience as we collect the required student weapons data for the last (2021-2022) school year.
Thanks, too, to everyone who was able to complete that process. If this describes you and your school, you are done for 2021-22!
If you were not able to complete the 2021-2022 weapons data collection because either you missed the earlier deadline, or because you were not able to log into the EDS app:
- The EDS application will be reopened for you to do so until September 30, 2022.
You can go into the EDS application anytime between now and September 30 to input your data.
The process for logging in and uploading data has not changed.
(If you are unsure, you can always log back in to check to see if you have already completed the process.)
If you call, select the IT support option to leave a message when prompted. They may have delays, but they are actually very good about getting back to people quickly.
In planning ahead, we expect the 2022-2023 EDS application to be ready for you in the spring of 2023, before the end of the school year.
Thank you for your patience.
Mike Donlin Program Supervisor, School Safety Center Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction 360-688-3375
Why is this important?
The Enrollment Reporting window opens October 4. You may recall that your Head of School email address is your username to log in to the report.
If your Head of School has changed since you submitted your 2022-2023 Approval Application and you have not already done so, please submit a Private School Change of Information Form by the end of business day, Friday, September 23.
You may also use the Change of Information Form to notify the State Board of Education of changes at your school regarding the school’s physical address.
-
Username: To log in, you will use the email address of your Head of School submitted on your 2022-2023 approval application.
-
Password: Your school's Building Code.
If you are unable to log in to the Change of Information Form, you may have already updated your information. If you are uncertain, please contact Nicole Mulhausen to verify the information we have on file for your school.
The Washington State Board of Education annually collects private school enrollment data.
The official count day for private schools is October 3, 2022. The enrollment data you provide should reflect the official school enrollment as of that date. An online reporting form will be available on October 4, 2022.
Please provide responses to all of the required questions and submit your school enrollment data before the close of business on November 15, 2022.
