The State Board of Education is hiring two positions to add to its outstanding staff team. The Basic Education Manager has a knack for public policy and thorough knowledge of our state’s K-12 system. The Community Engagement Coordinator is passionate about partnerships and is empowered to connect with people state-wide. Both positions close May 4.

The MBL Collaborative (MBLC) is a new grant project supported by the State Board of Education. The MBLC provides schools with professional learning and a community to help them transition to MBL and transform education into a more relevant and equitable learning experience for each student.

At the March meeting, the State Board discussed whether the emergency waiver program (Graduation Requirement Emergency Waiver program - GREW) should be extended to students graduating in 2023 and beyond, and what changes, if any, should be made. View the graphic outline of these rules.
