WIDA ACCESS
WIDA ACCESS testing has closed! Congratulations! Thank you for all of your hard work!
More information about data validation and returning materials went out in last week's ELP Assessment update.
OSPI has created a survey to hear about your experiences during this first year of WIDA ACCESS testing. The survey will take about 20 minutes and will close around April 10. You will be asked to identify the assessments and grade levels you want to provide feedback on and can also include written comments. Thanks for your input!
WIDA Q&A Session Update:
OSPI will be taking a break from our weekly WIDA Q&A sessions. Our next Lunch with Leslie will focus on Data Validation on April 18 followed by one on May 23 focused on Results and Score Reports.

Cancelled Event! - WIDA Workshop on Spanish Language Development Standards
WIDA's live pre-conference workshop on the WIDA Spanish Language Development Standards at the WABE Annual Conference has been cancelled due to low registration. We will be rescheduling a virtual workshop with WIDA later this spring.

As districts begin to build schedules for the fall, many districts are looking for ways to prioritize collaborative planning between EL teachers and content teachers as outlined in the WIDA ELD Standards Framework. If your district has any good examples of collaborative planning schedules you are willing to share, please contact Sue Connolly. |

Grant Opportunity with ArtsWA
This one-year grant is designed to expand professional learning opportunities for early learning educators (P-3rd grade) in arts integration teaching methods.
