ELP Assessment Update [December 12, 2021]
As you wrap up the fall and settle in for some well-earned rest over the break, we have some information for you to consider in preparation for testing in the new year.
On December 16, all WIDA-AMS users who have WIDA-AMS accounts for the WIDA Screener 2021-22 school year will be automatically uploaded into the 2021-22 WIDA ACCESS platform in WIDA AMS. When this rollover happens, account holders will receive an email from DRC confirming that they are now able to access the 2021-22 WIDA ACCESS platform in WIDA AMS. Staff do not need to take any action. Starting on December 16, DACs will be able to manage users for WIDA ACCESS testing.
On January 5, 2021 students who were included in the initial file pulled from CEDARS on December 14 will be uploaded into WIDA-AMS and districts can begin student management activities within the platform at that time.
The testing window will open on January 31.
Districts will receive initial testing materials around January 19 or 20. The additional orders window will open on January 19. Initial orders will be received in your district and will be based on the data we pull from CEDARS. Additional materials will be ordered through WIDA-AMS.
If you need a Braille assessment for a student, please order what you need during the additional materials window AND email ELPAssessments@k12.wa.us so OSPI can send you the adaptations for the Speaking domain.
We have been updating resources to help you have the information you need moving forward.
