Ethnic Studies & Graduation

We want to hear from students, families, educators, and Washington residents about what they’d like to see in an ethnic studies graduation requirement. Upcoming listening sessions will inform the concept/vision for the requirement. 

Register for a session below. Students should register for the student session, educators for the educator session, family for the family session, and anyone and everyone can register for the public session. 

• Educator session on October 19 at 4:00 p.m, 
• Student session on October 20 at 4:00 p.m.
• Public session on October 27 at 12:00 p.m.
• Family session on October 27 at 5:30 p.m.

Healthy Youth Survey

The Healthy Youth Survey is being administered from Oct. 11-29. The survey is a critical statewide mechanism for collecting student voice, and it asks students their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors pertaining to a variety of health/safety topics, such as school climate and community safety, anxiety and depression, substance use and abuse, and healthy eating habits and physical activity.
