1) Learn more: Check the iGrant & SIP Resources links below. 2) Prepare: A School Improvement Plan is required in the iGrant application. 3) Finish: iGrant applications are due on October 29 at 5:00 pm |
The application deadline for all OSSI Continuous School Improvement grants is coming up quickly on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 5:00 pm. Schools identified as eligible for Comprehensive Graduation Rate (Tier III) supports for this ESSA identification cycle are eligible to apply. After October 29, unapplied for funds will be redistributed to existing grantees and no longer available.
As applications require review and approval by multiple offices at the district and agency level, we recommend you apply well in advance of the deadline.
The purpose of continuous school improvement grants is to support high-leverage activities that advance the priority goals as detailed in the School Improvement Plan (SIP).
- As such, a 2021-22 SIP needs to be uploaded with each application, and all proposed expenditures must align with the priority goals of the SIP.
- If not using the OSSI Consolidated SIP template (Section III of the 2020-21 end-of year SIP progress monitoring document), be sure to highlight your 2021-22 goals in the SIP you upload.
- Funding needs to support approved graduation pathway(s).
