OSPI/SHAPE Washington release new Concepts of Physical Education assessment.

Check out the new computer friendly versions on our assessment page. For teacher copies with answer keys, (use your district) email Taylor.Allen@k12.wa.us for access. We also realinged several of our older health assessments to current standards.

Focus Fitness' "Providing Effective Online Learning in Physical Education" Professional Development Course Collection

These 5 online courses were developed in collaboration with OSPI, SHAPE WA, and over 20 Physical Educators from across Washington State. Each online course takes approximately 1 hour to complete, and users can pay SHAPE WA a $2.00 fee to earn 1 clock hour upon completion of each course.

Need middle school funding?

LifeSkills Training (LST) Substance Abuse Prevention Grants

YES! funds three WA middle schools to establish protective school communities.

Offered by OSPI, YES! is an evidence-based, whole-school violence prevention strategy that can be tailored to a school's unique local context. Program funds and implementation staff will provide vital support to co-design strategies for promoting positive social norms alongside students to address the increased risks of sexual violence and bullying in school settings.
