September Meeting Preview

SBE will host its September Meeting next week (14-16) with a special pre-meeting session with the Washington Office of Equity on September 9. Agenda items include legislative priorities, private schools, basic education compliance, and more. Business item approval and public comment will be held on September 16. More information will be available on SBE's meetings page soon.

Mastery-based Learning Grants Available

A notice of intent is due by September 28 and school applications are due on November 1. Sign up for an informational webinar planned for September 28.

Final Listening Session & Survey: Vision for Graduates

The Legislature has instructed the Mastery-based Learning Work Group to explore what skills would be highlighted in Washington State's vision for high school graduates.
