Please Welcome Dr. Kristin Percy Calaff, Bilingual Education Director

Good afternoon,

I am very pleased to announce Dr. Kristin Percy Calaff has been selected for the Bilingual Education Director position, starting July 6, 2021.

Dr. Percy Calaff has over 30 years of experience in bilingual education as a Spanish dual language teacher, an ELL teacher, principal, and district administrator. Most recently she served as Director of Language Learning in Highline Public Schools where she worked to develop and expand dual language programs. Kristin holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Ph.D. in Multilingual and Multicultural Education from George Mason University and has also served as an adjunct instructor at the University of Washington.
