School Nurse Webinar: the OSPI Student Support Team
In honor of National School Nurse day, OSPI Health Services is hosting an overview of the OSPI Student Support Programs. Join us as we share information about programs and related developments in regulations, guidance, and initiatives that impact student well-being and educational success. We will briefly explore the role of the school nurse as a part of the multi-disciplinary student support team within the MTSS framework. The School Nurse Day Webinar's purpose is to celebrate the role of school nurses and share information about programs that impact student health and well-being. This webinar will provide a broad overview of MTSS and identify specific examples of student supports within the MTSS framework.
Please note this webinar is offered on May 5th but National School Nurse Day is May 12th, 2021. We want school nurses to be available for recognition by their districts on the official day.
If you plan on attending, please register here.
For more information about National School Nurse Day, see the National Association of School Nurses website here.
