ELP Assessment Update January 7, 2021

Welcome to 2021. While many questions remain under consideration, we want to offer you as much information as we can to support your planning for the spring.

ELP Assessment Test Window

The testing window for both ELPA21 and WIDA Alternate ACCES has shifted. The test window will begin on March 22 and end on June 4 for both assessments.

Important Dates for ELP Testing

ELPA21

Additional Test Material Ordering Window: March 9 to May 26, 2021

Materials Arrive in District: March 8, 2021

Deadline for Shipping Materials to CAI: TBD

Final Scores Available in ORS: Early August

WIDA

Additional Test Material Ordering Window in AMS: March 5 to May 27, 2021

Deadline for Shipping Completed Test Materials to DRC: June 11, 2021

Pre-Reporting Data Validation: July 6 to July 14, 2021

Reports and Data Files Available: July 30, 2021

Data Posted to AMS: July 30, 2021

Reports Available in Districts: TBD

Training

Test Administrator trainings for both ELP assessments are now available on OSPI’s Moodle. Both trainings require that test administrators watch a training, successfully complete a quiz, and register with the state. All steps of this process are available through the Moodle courses associated with each test’s training.

WIDA Alt ACCESS training: https://learn.ospi.k12.wa.us/course/view.php?id=177. For access to the WIDA Alt ACCESS training you will need an access code from your district assessment coordinator.
