Health Assessment Writers Wanted!

We are looking for a small team of Elementary and Middle School Health Educators to rewrite our OSPI Nutrition Assessments: Trimble's Muffins and Shop-Eat-Move:

Tentative Dates:

  • March 13-14 SeaTac area
  • April 25-26 Ellensburg (before Health Conference)
  • Fall TBD

Second Step Curriculum is a program rooted in social-emotional learning (SEL) that helps transform schools into supportive, successful learning environments.

Funding for this middle school opportunity is provided by the WA Dept. of Health’s Injury & Violence Prevention Program. Five selected schools will receive a 3-year license for school-wide implementation. Apply online or contact Laurie.Dils@k12.wa.us for more information and an application packet. Applications are due Jan. 7.
