The Alternative Learning Department has completed the first edition of the Guide to Offering Alternative Learning Experiences (ALE). Included in this guide you will find a variety of information and guidance on offering ALE's and interpreting WAC 392-121-182. You can find this most recent guidance on our website.
The Alternative Learning Department will be focusing its efforts on improving ALE CEDARS data for the 2018-19 school year. One step in this process is providing districts with informational reports allowing them to compare their enrollment reporting data with student information submitted to CEDARS at various points during the school year. OSPI is currently in the process of creating these reports in addition to a method for making them available to district staff.
If you have questions or would like more information on CEDARS reporting, please:
Please register for the 2019 ALE Administrators meeting. Friday January 18th, 2019 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM South Puget Sound Community College, Lacey Campus
