Due 10/15/2018: Form Package 239 — Title II, Part A Full Grant Application

The deadline to submit iGrants FP 239 (18-19) is Monday, October 15, 2018. All Local Education Agencies (LEAs) are required to complete the first four pages and Page 6A of FP 239, even if they choose not to participate in Title II, Part A grant funds:

Page 1 – Intent to Participate
Page 2 – Title II, Part A Assurances
Page 3 – Teacher Professional Qualifications
Page 4 – Equity Gap Data
Page 6A ─ Transferability Options

All other grant application pages (pages 5-10) are applicable based on LEA needs and their intent to participate option (i.e., TIIA, REAP, Transferability, Not Participating).

Important Note: LEAs who choose to participate in Title II, Part A grant funds for 2018-19 school year must have an approved iGrants FP 284 Title II, Part A—EOY Report (18–19) on file BEFORE an LEA’s FP 239 (18-19) grant application can be issued final approval.

Due 10/31/2018: Form Package 284 — Title II, Part A Teacher and Principal Training and Recruiting Fund End-of-Year (EOY) Report

The deadline to submit iGrants FP 284 (18-19) is Wednesday, October 31, 2018. Local Education Agencies (LEAs) who participated in Title II, Part A funding for the 2017–18 school year are required to submit iGrants FP 284 Title II, Part A—EOY Report (18–19).

LEAs who chose the REAP option for their Title II, Part A funds the 2017–18 school year are required to submit iGrants Form Package 367 (18–19)—REAP Alternative Fund Use Authority End-of-Year Report. REAP option LEAs do not need to submit FP 284 (18–19).

The purpose of Title II, Part A is to increase the academic achievement of all students by helping schools and districts improve teacher and principal quality. This includes teacher preparation and qualifications of new teachers, recruitment and hiring, induction, professional development, and retention. In addition, Title IIA funds may be used to improve the skills and knowledge of principals for effective school leadership.
