It's Almost Summer!!

As the 2017-18 school year winds down, we want to thank each and every one of you for your collaboration this past year. We wish you a wonderful and relaxing summer and look forward to great things in 2018-19! 

In the spirit of relaxation and breaks, we will not be sending newsletters in the months of June or July. Newsletters will resume in August. However, if you have questions, concerns, or just want to say hello over the summer we will be available. Contact us at any time! 


ALE Year End Report

School districts claiming ALE enrollment are required to submit an ALE Year End Report. This report is now available for districts that reported ALE enrollment during 2017-18. 

Deadline: August 31, 2018.

Guidance: Guidance on the ALE Year End Report can be found on our website. A webinar is scheduled for June 13, 2018 at 2:30 PM to provide an overview of the reporting process. Register here or in the upcoming events section of this newsletter.

ALE CEDARS Reporting Webinar

Help Develop the K-12 Education Budget

Help OSPI build a 2019-2021 budget request for the Legislature and Governor! OSPI has created a survey asking Washingtonians to determine the importance they place on specific public K-12 education priorities. Please provide your input by Friday, June 8 and share this survey widely with your students, colleagues, families, and communities. For more information on the survey, a one-minute long video, sample tweets in English and Spanish, and links to the survey in 10 languages, please visit the OSPI website.
