ELP Assessment Update April 2018
WIDA Alternate ACCESS Materials Return
May 4 is the deadline for all secure WIDA materials to be picked
up by UPS. Materials that are not picked up by May 4 will be considered late
and scoring of these tests will be delayed. Please ensure that you have return
labels for your materials (these are ordered through DRC’s help desk). If you need Do Not Process labels, UPS labels, or DRC Return labels, all of these are ordered through the DRC held desk.
Please also ensure that all of your testing booklets have a student-specific or
school-specific label on them. If you need school-specific labels, please send
Leslie Huff at OSPI the information below immediately. The labels will take 4 to 5 business
days to arrive in your district and must be on the booklets for them to be scored.

We have received feedback and identified a need for
districts to be able to bulk upload incoming Kindergartners into TIDE for the purpose
of ELPA21 Screening. With that in mind we have created an application in WAMS
for mass uploading your pre-enrolled 2018-19 Kindergarten students. Please note
that this is available in addition to the existing procedure for adding
individual students with Temp ID’s (for more details on Temp ID’s please review
page 4 of the SRMAAG).
You can find this application in WAMS > Assessment
Operations > Pre-Id > Kindergarten Round-Up. Files that submit
successfully will validate that SSIDs being uploaded to TIDE are real SSIDs
that have been issued to students. Only use this upload for Kindergarteners. All
students uploaded will be assigned KG automatically.
