The public comment period has ended and the WAC hearing regarding Full-day Kindergarten (FDK) in Alternative Learning Experience (ALE) has taken place. OSPI is now in the process of submitting final paperwork for the rules to take effect. Any program interested in or planning to claim kindergarten students for more than 0.5 FTE in the 2018-19 school year should become familiar with the new rules.
