Moustafa Ibrahim
Over the past 15 years, Moustafa has gained experience in IT project management, strategic planning, and digital transformation across both public and private sectors. His background includes a Bachelor of Engineering degree, PMP Certification, and PMI-ACP designation. He has most recently served as a Senior IT Project Manager with the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) in State of Washington, where he led initiatives like the Blake Refund Project and managed various statewide IT projects.
He was drawn to the agency's commitment to breaking down barriers and fostering economic inclusivity. He is excited to bring efficient, collaborative solutions to the team, and the OMWBE mission strongly resonates with him. He has a particular interest in making complex technical systems more accessible and user-friendly for diverse stakeholders, which he believes aligns well with OMWBE's goal of reducing barriers to participation in state contracting opportunities, Collaboration and clear communication are values he holds highly, and he is eager to build strong, transparent relationships within the OMWBE team.
He is originally from Egypt and later moved to Washington by way of California, bringing a diverse cultural perspective. He’s passionate about continuous learning, particularly around new technology and AI's impact on management. In his free time, Moustafa enjoys preparing North African dishes and exploring Washington's outdoors with his spouse and kiddos.
Sunny Singh
Sunny has successfully managed large-scale IT projects and collaborated with diverse, cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments. He has worked with prominent companies like Exelon, Oracle, Pepsi, Adidas, Puma, and Microsoft, delivering tailored solutions that enhanced efficiency and met project timelines. He has implemented Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements, strengthening his adaptability and focus on optimizing workflows.
He was born in India, Punjab and lived there for 15 years and then moved to Seattle, WA where he attended high school and college. He chose OMWBE because, as a minority and someone passionate about giving back, he deeply understands the challenges that many small business owners face in accessing opportunities. His volunteer experience has strengthened his commitment to supporting underserved communities. For Sunny, the biggest win is combining his technical expertise with the desire to make a tangible impact on equitable access and support for diverse businesses.
Sunny loves spending time outdoors, hiking, camping, and playing on a flag football team. Along with his appreciation for nature, he believes in giving back to the community by volunteering with various programs, including Adopt-a-Street, Team Up to Clean Up, the U.S. Army, local food drives, and several other organizations. He enjoys exploring new advancements and innovations and is excited about how they can make a difference in our lives. He loves communicating and learning about his peers and having conversations that make it easier to maneuver roadblocks we face as a team.
Anna Zhou
Anna recently graduated from the University of California – San Diego with a major in Mathematics-Economics, where she conducted development economics research regarding business education on high school students. She also worked as a Data Analyst at Hey Social Good, a startup that uses data to assess and rank a business on their sustainability and social good practices. She is currently researching machine learning and its potential implementations within society. Her research and technical background focus on equity, which will greatly benefit OMWBE in the Data and Research Analyst role.
She grew up in a small-town west of Toronto, Canada. Anna is passionate about creating a positive impact on the world through everyday actions, sustainability/climate change, constant learning, and technological breakthroughs. In her free time, she enjoys Breaking (breakdancing), gaming, exploring new places, playing with her cats, creating memories with friends and family, and journaling.
Anna has always been a proponent of social good and bringing equity to a society of systemic inequalities and believes in equity over equality to level the playing field. She is very excited about uplifting under-privileged communities with OMWBE and loves meeting new people.
