FEMA has released a new Notice of Funding Opportunity for its re-started BRIC grant program and our office is currently reviewing the details, including several changes from previous cycles. Because this NOFO merges the cancelled FY24 round with a new FY25 round, we want to be sure we fully understand the implications before providing guidance.
Please note that the FY24–25 cycle will again be administered through FEMA GO. All participating jurisdictions should ensure that their SAM.gov registration, Unique Entity ID, and system access for FEMA Go are up to date. Because new registrations and renewals can take up to four weeks to process, it is strongly recommended that jurisdictions verify their registration and access status as soon as possible.
Our immediate priority is confirming a clear path for previously prepared FY24 BRIC sub‑applications to move forward, since those applicants were unable to submit before the earlier round was halted. Once we have clarity on that process, and any additional requirements for new submissions, we will share comprehensive guidance and next steps.
Thank you for your patience while we work through the details. We will provide an update as soon as possible.
