The Washington Medical Commission (WMC) officially filed a CR-101 with the Office of the Code Reviser on September 12, 2023. The WMC is considering amending WAC 246-918-076 (physician assistants) and WAC 246-919-397 (physicians) in response to 2SHB 1009 (chapter 165, Laws of 2023), Military Spouse Employment Act. The WSR# is 23-19-029.

The purpose of the rules workshop will be to:
- Discuss comments received;
- Discuss draft language; and
- Discuss next steps
Interested parties and the general public are invited to participate in the workshop and provide comments on draft rules. If you would like to provide comments in writing prior to the workshop, please do so by 5 pm on Monday, April 1. You may submit your comments by clicking below:
