The Washington Medical Commission (WMC) officially filed a CR-101 with the Office of the Code Reviser on September 12, 2023. The WMC is considering amending WAC 246-918-076 (physician assistants) and WAC 246-919-397 (physicians) in response to 2SHB 1009 (chapter 165, Laws of 2023), Military Spouse Employment Act. The WSR# is 23-19-029.

The purpose of the rules workshop will be to:
- Review the rules process;
- Discuss comments received;
- Invite committee members and members of the public to present draft rule language; and
- Discuss next steps
