LYNNWOOD, WA (August 15th, 2025) - On August 13th, 2025, Lynnwood Detectives and Special Operations Section Officers arrested a 25-year-old male for Dealing in and Possession of Depictions of Minors Engaged in Sexually Explicit Conduct, and Carrying a Concealed Pistol without a Permit. The arrest stemmed from numerous National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTips detailing over 50 uploads of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) over a period of two years. The CyberTip was forwarded to the Washington State Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) who provided the information to the Lynnwood Police Department, an ICAC partner agency. When the 25-year-old suspect was arrested at his place of employment, he had a firearm concealed on his person without a permit. A search warrant was executed on the suspect’s residence with the assistance of ICAC partner agencies Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office and King County Sheriff’s Office. Digital devices were seized and two additional firearms were located.
