The renovations at Veterans Park offer a new opportunity to honor veterans, both past and present. Some of the existing bricks at the park will be removed during construction and added to a series of granite panels in a new location in the park.

You can order an inscription including the name of a veteran and their branch of service to be added to the first series of panels to be installed during the renovation. The cost for each inscription is $100.

The first series of granite panels will be installed at the park during the 2022 park enhancement. Subsequent orders will be installed in lots of 45 or on an annual basis.

The first Memorial Bench the City offers is the Orion Seat - see photo.

The cost of an Orion Seat (including inscribed bronze plaque) is $3000

The Orion seats will be placed in groupings near the new Gold Star Families Memorial Monument. There will be 22 total representing the 22 veterans lost to suicide each day. The arrangement will include "missing" seats representing those lost.

The second Memorial Bench the City offers is the Bayview Bench - see photo.

The cost of a Bayview Bench (including inscribed bronze plaque) is $2500

Bench locations will be placed throughout Veterans Park and will be predetermined by the City.
