Gather with us at Community Life Center on Monday, January 17th to kick off a day of volunteering at Scriber Lake Park to clear invasive species and help beautify Scriber Lake Park.
Volunteers are asked to meet at Community Life Center at 9 am before walking to the Park. Please plan to park at Community Life Center located at 19820 Scriber Lake Rd, Lynnwood, WA 98036. Community Life Center is just a short distance from Scriber Lake Park.
Please bring your own gloves. All other materials provided.

 Every six years, Lynnwood is required to prepare a long-range planning document to provide policies, goals and an action plan for providing park and recreation services which will coordinate with the City’s Comprehensive Plan and Capital Facilities Plan. The current Parks, Arts, Recreation & Conservation (PARC) Plan was adopted in February 2016 with an update due by March 1, 2022. The final draft of the 2022 PARC Plan Update, published on January 5, 2022, was prepared after more than a year of research, surveying, and outreach and has been recommend by the Parks & Recreation Board to be presented and adopted by the City Council. A SEPA Determination of Nonsignificance was issued on January 5th with appeal comments due by January 19, 2022. The final draft update will be presented to City Council for adoption.

- October 6 – December 6, 2021: Online Open House & Public Comment Period
- January 5, 2022: Final Draft Published
- January 5, 2022: Parks & Recreation Board Meeting
- January 19, 2022: SEPA Appeal Period Ends
- January 31, 2022: City Council Briefing #1
- February 7, 2022: City Council Briefing #2
- February 14, 2022: City Council Adoption
- March 1, 2022: Deadline to apply for state certification
