Summary: The City Center Program Manager (CCPM) is responsible for guiding the development of Lynnwood's City Center sub-area through implementing strategies, projects, policy and studies. The individual assigned to this position will coordinate efforts to redevelop the City toward a more concentrated, mixed use, pedestrian friendly and transit-oriented center.

Lateral Custody Officer

Summary: The incumbent of this position is responsible for the safe care and secure custody of prisoners confined in the Lynnwood City Jail.  The employee is also responsible for transporting prisoners to and from court and other jails.  The position is located in the Police Department and is under the direct supervision of a Confinement Sergeant. Incumbents are placed on the salary range depending on their experience.  

Special Incentives: Lateral Custody Officers hired by the Lynnwood Police Department will receive a five thousand dollar ($5,000) incentive. One thousand dollars ($1,000) will be paid upon successful completion of their probationary period. One thousand dollars ($1,000) will be paid upon successful completion of their second year of service. The remaining three thousand dollars ($3,000) will be paid upon successful completion of their third year of service. Lateral custody officers will be credited with vacation accrual consistent with their prior experience up to seven (7) years of service.

Summary:

The incumbent of this position serves in a learning or training capacity while assisting regular commissioned police officers and other police department personnel in the performance of their duties.  Cadets are supervised by the Training Sergeant but may also receive instructions and guidance from other police department personnel. Job Location and Equipment Utilized: Work is normally performed in an office environment or outdoors in all types of weather conditions. Equipment utilized includes standard office equipment, departmental computers with associated software and peripherals, department vehicles and other miscellaneous equipment.
