For the next several days, lawmakers will be spending long days and late nights on the House and Senate floors debating and voting on bills. That's because our next big deadline, house of origin cutoff, is looming.
Why it matters: With the exception of bills deemed necessary to implement the budget, bills must advance from the House to the Senate by March 8 to stay alive.
Keeping you informed: To provide you with an up-to-date overview of the good and bad bills that survived the Legislature's recent deadlines, I'd like to invite you to an upcoming virtual town hall.
You're invited! 12th District Virtual Town Hall on Thursday, March 16 from 7 – 8 p.m.
Description: Along with my co-host, Rep. Keith Goehner, R-Dryden, we'll be answering your questions on the bills and public policies being debated and decided in Olympia.
Registration is easy. Simply click here or on the image below.
You're welcome to submit your town hall question during registration. This is not a requirement. It's simply an easy way to let us know the concerns you have about events in Olympia and what topics you'd like addressed.
After registration, an attendee link will be sent automatically to your email.
Problems registering? If you need assistance, let me know. I'm happy to help.
It's an honor to serve you!
Sincerely,
Mike Steele
