PRELIMINARY REPORT PRESENTATION: JLARC staff found that the qui tam provisions in the Medicaid Fraud False Claims Act work as intended and maximize recoveries for the state.

PRELIMINARY REPORT PRESENTATION: JLARC staff reviewed four telehealth programs operated by UW and Seattle Children’s that provide mental and behavioral health expertise and assistance to health care providers and patients’ families.

WORK PLAN ADJUSTMENT APPROVED The Committee voted to approve a change to the work plan. The study regarding how restricting in-person K-12 education due to COVID-19 impacted racial equity will now be presented at the January 2023 meeting.
