Feedback Sessions Set: Cannabis Rulemaking to implement ESSB 5403

Cannabis Retailers – Financial Interest Agreements

As part of the Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB) rulemaking to implement Engrossed Substitute Senate Bill (ESSB) 5403, LCB is holding two online feedback sessions.

The sessions will cover:

Both sessions are open to all interested parties and will cover the same material. Anyone not able to attend who wants to provide input can send written feedback to rules@lcb.wa.gov.

A CR-102 with proposed rules will be filed after these sessions and the formal comment period will then begin.

During these online sessions, please keep the following in mind:

  • Both sessions may be recorded and any recordings are subject to public disclosure. Recordings help to ensure we collect all feedback and those who can't attend can view the sessions when they are available.
  • The Teams chat feature will be on. Questions written in the chat will be saved in the rulemaking file and are subject to public disclosure.
  • Questions and comments in the session’s chat may not be responded to in real time but will be addressed at the end of the session, as time allows.
  • Participants will be muted and will be unmuted by the session’s leader.
  • To ask questions during the sessions, you must use the raise hand function in Teams and you will be unmuted to ask your question.
