LCB Board Takes Action on Two Alcohol-Related Issues
Alcohol Rulemaking – Trade Practice Repeal - Public comment period now open
On March 4, 2026, during its regularly scheduled meeting the Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB) approved the following action impacting three alcohol rules.
The Board approved expedited rulemaking (CR-105) to repeal WAC 314-23-065, WAC 314-23-080, and WAC 314-23-085. These rules are being repealed to align with a Washington state court decision. The public comment period is open until May 5, 2026, at 5 p.m.
LCB Action: Contract Food Service Options for Breweries EHB 1602 – Proposed Rule making (CR 102) Filed
On March 4, 2026 the Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB) also took the following action.
The Board approved a proposed rulemaking (CR 102) to amend WAC 314-02-015, WAC 314-02-035, and WAC 314-02-045 to implement EHB 1602 regarding contract food service options for breweries.
