LCB Finds Illegal Cannabis Sales at Unlicensed Location in Tacoma
OLYMPIA, WA 02/25/2026: On Feb 21, 2026, the Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB) in collaboration with the Tacoma Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) carried out a search warrant on an illicit, unlicensed cannabis operation happening at the “Attick,” located at 525 Puyallup Ave., Tacoma, WA 98421.
Under state law, cannabis may only be sold at state-licensed locations.
During this investigation officers conducted multiple undercover buys and were able to buy illicit cannabis products from multiple vendors from this unlicensed location. The Attick was set up with a check-in counter where customers would get their ID scanned and an Attick identification card was created for customers. Punch cards were used to encourage repeat sales. After checking in, customers were directed to a large room with 12 vendor tables rented out to display and sell illicit cannabis products. Additional cannabis products were stored and manufactured on the second floor of the building, where there was also a room for using cannabis.
The operation led to the seizure of illicit cannabis products and cash including:
- 42,366 grams of edibles
- 63,639 grams of concentrates/distillate
- 186,154 grams of flower
- 2,087 grams of psilocybin mushrooms
- 12,066 grams of mixed cannabis items
- 4 clones
- $11,235 in cash
- A firearm
Thirteen people were arrested by the Tacoma Police Department for violations of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act.
