Re: Increased Liquor Privilege Fees Effective July 27, 2025

Dear Tribal Leader,

We want to reach out to let all Tribes with liquor MOAs know of a fee increase that went into effect on July 27, 2025. During the 2025 legislative session, the state legislature passed Second Substitute Senate Bill 5786 increasing fees for all alcohol sales and service privileges. Copies of the increased retail and non-retail fee changes are attached and can also be found on our agency website at https://lcb.wa.gov/.

Please note that the $1644 Spirit Fee (in lieu of spirits fees on all retail spirits sold for off premise consumption per location) will not be increasing as that fee was not increased in the legislation.

Please let us know if the Tribe would like to discuss the 2025 state legislative changes, as they will affect future MOA Annual Fee Renewals.
